The 35th USENIX Security Symposium

Yalan Wang, University of Surrey, will present the paper ’FABS: Fast Attribute-Based
Signatures’ published at the 35 th USENIX Security Symposium. In this paper, we
proposed two attribute-based signatures, one is key-policy based version, and the
other is signature-policy based version. Both support desirable features, such as
monotone span program policy, large universe, arbitrary attributes. Most notably,
both schemes have efficient verification with comparable efficiency in key
generation, signature generation compared with existing attribute-based signature
schemes. In CASTOR, we need to consider about using an aggregatable signature as
a building block to design composite attestation schemes. The building block in this
work, Schnorr signature, can support aggregation and ensure efficiency due to no
need for pairings during verification.
