Yalan Wang, University of Surrey, will present the paper ’FABS: Fast Attribute-Based Signatures’ published at the 35 th USENIX Security Symposium.
In this paper, we proposed two attribute-based signatures: one is a key-policy-based version, and the other is a signature-policy-based version. Both support desirable features, such as monotone span program policy, large universe, and arbitrary attributes. Most notably, both schemes have efficient verification with comparable efficiency in key generation and signature generation compared with existing attribute-based signature schemes.
In CASTOR, we need to consider using an aggregatable signature as a building block to design composite attestation schemes. The building block in this work, the Schnorr signature, can support aggregation and ensure efficiency due to no need for pairings during verification.
