SUMMARY:International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT) 2026
DESCRIPTION:CASTOR Horizon will be featured at the ICT 2026 Conference in Thessaloniki\, a leading international event bringing together researchers\, industry experts\, and policymakers to discuss the future of information and communication technologies. \nAs part of the conference\, FERON Technologies\, partner in CASTOR\, is organizing a Special Session on Mission Critical Services in 6G (SS6)\, focusing on key challenges and innovations shaping next-generation critical infrastructures. The session will explore topics such as security\, privacy\, and trust mechanisms\, zero-trust architectures\, dynamic trust management\, and resilient communication systems. \nCASTOR supports this special session and contributes to advancing discussions around trusted networking and secure service delivery in mission-critical environments. CASTOR partners are invited to submit contributions\, and the broader community is also encouraged to participate. \n📄 Call for papers is open until 1 April 2026 \n🔗 Submissions: https://www.edas.info/newPaper.php?c=34652 \nThe ICT 2026 Conference is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society\, and accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore\, subject to quality requirements. \n

SUMMARY:The 22nd EAI International Conference on Security and Privacy in Communication Networks
DESCRIPTION:At the 22nd EAI International Conference on Security and Privacy in Communication Networks\, Prof.\nLiqun Chen (University of Surrey) will deliver a keynote presentation on attribute-based\ncryptography\, covering attribute-based encryption\, attribute-based signatures\, and attribute-based\nsearchable encryption\, along with three related research contributions developed by his team.\nThese advanced cryptographic primitives will be relevant to CASTOR in scenarios where integrity\,\nconfidentiality\, and authenticity are required. In particular\, CASTOR will leverage such approaches at\nthe network device level to enable secure key management. When a device joins a domain and\nrequires credentials\, attribute-based signatures will provide a mechanism for constructing privacy-\npreserving anonymous credentials.

SUMMARY:The 35th USENIX Security Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Yalan Wang\, University of Surrey\, will present the paper ’FABS: Fast Attribute-Based\nSignatures’ published at the 35 th USENIX Security Symposium. In this paper\, we\nproposed two attribute-based signatures\, one is key-policy based version\, and the\nother is signature-policy based version. Both support desirable features\, such as\nmonotone span program policy\, large universe\, arbitrary attributes. Most notably\,\nboth schemes have efficient verification with comparable efficiency in key\ngeneration\, signature generation compared with existing attribute-based signature\nschemes. In CASTOR\, we need to consider about using an aggregatable signature as\na building block to design composite attestation schemes. The building block in this\nwork\, Schnorr signature\, can support aggregation and ensure efficiency due to no\nneed for pairings during verification.
